Feedback and Learning in Private Practice (FLiPP)

One of our most important roles as educators is to create an environment where ALL students can learn and be successful. This course provides an opportunity to utilize the practice of microteaching and public practice as a vehicle to enhance teaching and learning by exploring the implementation of student engagement and academic vocabulary strategies to create a classroom culture of “Everyone Does Everything!”

This 3-semester learning series covers three components with each one being a pre-requisite before advancing to the next component:

  1. Student Engagement

  2. Academic Vocabulary (engagement pre-req.)

  3. Critical Thinking & Comprehension (engagement & vocab pre-reqs.)
